how can i convert my VHS recordings to my PC?

hiya, i have a few vhs recordings and would like to put them on to my pc to burn on to dvd, hat's the best way to do this without any complicated hassel which i've encountered before and what do i need to do it. please help me out

You can buy a device like a Pinnacle DAZZLE that connects your VCR to your USB port on your computer and lets you capture and edit to a program they provide.

Or you could buy a DV video camera that has a video in port and dub the VHS tape to DV tape and then capture the DV tape to your computer (computer has to have Firewire and a video editing program for that to work).

Or you could buy a stand alone DVD/VHS player/recorder that has the ability to dub VHS to DVD.
