Can anyone give me an idea as to why when the washing machine is in full spin there sounds like a small going is going around in the drum however the machine is clean and empty.

My Ariston Advantage 1300 did the same and, having replaced the bearings, it turned out to just be a very slightly loose bolt on one of the shocks that support the drum. A quarter turn made the difference between vertual silence (well nearly) and an unbearable racket on full spin .
