How do I increase the pressure on my boiler?

I have a Vokera boiler system. the pressure gauge is at 0. How do I increase the pressure and do I need to switch the pilot flame off when doing this?

there should be a flexible filling loop nearby - no need to turn pilot off

loop is usually of stainless steel flex pipe with one or two little taps -- turn on to about 1 bar on gauge.
