My Sony KV-29X1D Trinitron TV goes black and red light blinks twice?

I have a 29" Sony KV-29X1D Trinitron. When you turn it on you get audio but as soon as the screen is coming, the TV shuts itself off before the picture comes on. Then red light in front blinks twice. What is the problem and is it worth fixing.

I HAD THIS PROBLEM ON MY SONY TELEVISION IT SHUTS ITSELF DOWN DUE TO ANY PROBLEM IT HAS ENCOUNTERED TO PROTECT ITSELF FLASHING LIGHT INDICATES SERVICE PROBLEM. NEED DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT TO FIND FAULT.
