camera maxed out on optical zoom seems to be stuck on digital zoom, shutter will not take pic

hi i had a similar problem on my olympus,i put it on a multi power unit(mains)and that seemed to have enough power to give it a jolt and reset,as opposed to battery power,

My Lumix DMC-TZ30 has done the same thing. How do I fix it?
