How do I adjust the screen of my T.V. so you can see the crawl on the bottom of it. I can see that it is running, but, can not see what it is saying.

Hey I know this ain't an answer but i have the exact same tv with the exact same problem........the sides, top, and bottom of the screen are cut off. Its like the tv was meant to be 28" but someone decided to make the glass screen 27. Anyone know a solution to make the picture smaller to fit the screen?
