I have a KDS rad-7si lcd monitor model 780 without a power adaptor !?

I need to find a 12v 4.0 adaptor for my KDS lcd monitor .It is weird because the cord that plugs into your monitoer has a hole in it for the power plug to fit into .I have looked alll over the internet and either it is very expensive of no one is willing to help figure out which one we need . Thanks in advance

the power cord actually plugs into the vga cable, its weird, you can find them on ebay

These Monitors are 12 volt 4 amp DC required Power Supplies.

How ironic I just went on line looking for the same
DC 12v 40a for the same model No 780 and I came across your question. Please let me know if you find one because I am looking for one as well. I have tried Radio Shack, Circuit City, Comp USA, and several comp stores here in San Antonio but have not found one.
