Hi Carty,
I've got a 20" ONN widescreen.
Had it about a year now and absolutely no problem.
The picture is easily as sharpe as my Sonny 26".

Forget the comments about ASDA. ASDA don't make their own electricals, nor their own brand food. These are made by specialist manufacturers, who apply an Asda branding to it in their factories. This is because of the buying power of ASDA (and other big retailers) and that's where the savings come from - not quality.

Most people do not buy TV's from eletcrical shops but from retail shops such as Currys etc. ASDA is just another retail shop but, as identified, because of it's buying power, gets things cheaper and passes (some) of that saving on to the purchaser!

To be honest, it is not a brand I have ever heard of, but perhaps you ought to consider the standard of the other products that Asda sell. Generally speaking their products are of a pretty poor standard, marketed for price long before quality.

Asda 'own brand' food is pretty dire, and I would expect their 'own brand' TV to be much the same.

Ask this. Would you buy your frozen food from an electrical shop? If not, why are you considering buying a tv from a supermarket?

Personally, I would give it a miss.
