my remote won't respond to the freeviewbox?

I setup my freeview(itd62) today all worked fine until i turned the tv off and now the remote won't respond to the freeview box any ideas?

check the tv is tuned to the freeview box. ( on the correct AV channel if scart )
turn freeview box off at the mains for 30 seconds or so and turn it back on ( This should reset it )
check batteries in the remote.
