hi robert, i had a similar problem when purchasing a new printer minus the disk! the way round it i found was to search the web for the driver for my paritcular printer. it took a while but i found it (sorry cant remember the site but sum 1 else will prob tel u!!) once the driver was uploaded hey presto i am printing away! i know my answer was a bit vague but i hope ive helped
