Inside the control board cavity is a service manual with error codes and course of action. F9 points to a defective Inverter board. We had the Sears repair technician visiting 3 times and he is still unable to fix the Microhood. He replaced the inverter board, checked the thermostat and replaced the control panel board. Be prepared to expect the worst of service if you deal with Sears. It has been more than a month and we still have a broken microhood. The only component left is the Magnatron which the repairman refuses to replace(it has a 5 year warranty) We are now fighting to get our wasted $60 diagnostic fee back which will be applied towards any other product brand other than Kenmore.
