My ps2 has disk reading problems please give advise thankzz

It could be something as simple as your laser needing cleaning or the voltage to the laser might need adjusting does it play audio cd,s ok? as there are two voltage screws one for audio cd,s and one for dvd,s and games. if it plays audio ok then this is usually the problem. go on ebay search faulty ps2,s and you can buy a ps2 repair guide for 99p.
