You don't mention which Internet Browser you are using, so I'll asume it is Internet Explorer. Click Help > About. Do you see the words "Cipher Strength: 128-bit"?

If you don't you should run Automatic Updates and let Windows update your system. I had to do this ages ago in order to continue loging in to my bank's website.
