Fixing 23kw Jaguar boiler?

My Jaguar 23kw wall mounted boiler as stopped working. No display, no run and fuses on pcb look fine. Mains fuse ok. Power is getting to boiler but no life !. Have spent £375 in repairs since 2001. Will not get another !. Any advice welcome. paul.

Good news Tony and Hi-spec plumbing !. The boiler is now working and the internal fuse was blown. Changed the 80ma fuse that runs display, the old one was not blackened or broken as you would expect but got some fuses from Maplins £2.40 and got a result. Got the boiler in a heating pack from Plumbcentre and new it was a budget boiler . As with all things you get what you pay for !!. Thanks for your input , cheers !

I like the Jaguar boilers as they are simple and cheap to buy and very reliable.

I am called to fix a few and wish that I could see more as they are a delight to work on.

It sounds as if either the boiler was fitten on a system without powerflushing or you have been seriously overcharged.

You would not say that if you had a Saunier Duval which are really aweful boilers!

sounds abit like a major fault you have. with out doing any checks it's hard to tell, can only put it down to a pcb.

but your are right they are a hopeless boiler.
