my beko wma10w washing machine blows the house fuse when i switch it on?

hi i have a beko wma 10 w washing machine when i switch it on within 3 seconds the house fuse box trips has any one got any ideas what could be wrong thanks

Just spent 3 hours with washing machine in bits same tripping problem ,then I change the factory plug ,all working fine again

hi i had same problem what it is is the plug needs changing you will need to cut the plug off and changing it for another such as a hairdryer it is the same fault with most of this model if it's less than a year old than it's still guarenteed but if the plug has already being changed than screws need to be tightend hope this helps

It will be your motor. Just buy a new machine as you will get a warranty. replacing your motor will give you a tenner change on the price of a new machine.
How do I know ?
I have been stripping down and testing the individual components of my own machine today
The trip will not happen if you disconnect the earth lead from the motor. I am not advocating but illustrating how I found our fault

Sounds like a water leak has got to the main circuit board or a fine spray is soaking the main terminals
