After the electrical cable of my Dyson DC04 came loose I dismantled the hoover to see what part I needed to replace. Stupidly I unplugged the connector wires from the motor (which are red and black) from the connectors for cable to the on/off switch (which are blue and brown). Now I can not remember which to plug back together. Can any one help???

It will make no difference to the operation of the motor whichever way it is connected, as it is an AC supply it will NOT rotate in a backwards direction.
