alright, one day i start another computer of mine, i have windows XP. RIght before i the login screen comes up the screen blacks out i hear some weird stressed tickin noise from my harddrive and i get the blue screen with the error:
Stop 0x000000C2 0x00000043, 0xD73A0000 0x00000000 0x00000000

Sounds like your hard drive is knackered. Install a new hard drive and put the old one in as a slave and you might be able to retrieve your data.
