Call Home Depot Customer Care and they can get you a new remote.

Hello,
I also have two of the Hampton Bay model you describe. I am looking to purchase a third, and possibly a fourth, to match the originals. If you still have these items, would you be willing to sell one or both?

The remote for the fan has been eaten by the house goblin. The wall switch will turn on the light for the fan but not the fan itself. Does anyone know how to re-wire the fan so the fan works or would programming a generic remote work to run the fan.

I have found Minka Aire wall mount remotes and hand held remotes work with Hampton Bay.

Hi Melissa, Your fan model is exactly like the ones we inherited in our new home. Unfortunately, the previous owner took all the remotes. So far, the only replacement remote I can find has controls for one light and the fan speeds. I had to rewire the receiver/fan lights so now the upper and lower both come on together. It works fine, but not what I wanted. The receiver module has line-side wires (blk, wht, grn) and control-side wires (org, blu, wht, blk). I tied the blue to the orange and blue from the fan. Does this help?
