Yes you can but I suspect that you want the PC to boot the OS from that drive? It depends on your PC. Go into your PC's BIOS setup and look at the boot devices. Hard drive One, DC ROM Driver, LAN card, etc. If you need more post a NEW question (not this one) with more information about what you are actually trying to do.
