I have tried several universal remotes for my sons TV, but none of them seem to cover the brand ONN. The guy in the store that i brought the 4 in 1 remote TVRC4N model, said it possibly comes under a different name. Surly i do not have to try each code in the booklet until i strike lucky!

If I was you I'd take all the remotes back and get my money back as they usually have a "If it doesn't work - we take it back" policy.

As far as I know ONNs only come from Asda so I would try them for a proper remote.
