emachine 170 17" tft monitor - will not switch on - help please?
After about 2 1/2 years the TFT screen went completely pink/brown coloured. Tried to shut down the PC thinking it was a card issue, but now the monitor will not switch on i.e. green light will not come on with power button). It is one where a DC supply plugs into the vga plug on the video card. Power supply is live and I can hearing the screen clicking when the supply is plugged into the socket on the VGA plug. All cables seem intact.
a) is there anything I should immediately be looking for inside the monitor e.g. fuse etc
b) does anyone have access to maintenance manual or diagram / diagnostics for the monitor?
