which glue will stick Lego together permenantly please?

I'd like to know the best glue I can purchase in Britain which will permenantly stick Lego parts together please

ABS Solvent cement, normally used for plumbing to fix plastic pipes.

I think Araldite (spelt phoneticly) should do the trick. It is availble in most old-style hardware shops. They may have a better suggestion. Just don't use poly cement (for Airfix models) they seem to have watered it down in the least couple of years.
