Boiler pressure to high?

My boiler was recently serviced and the temp. was lowered to 140 however my psi jumped to 30lbs. My boiler will not come on unless I play with the thermastat. The high pressure relieve valved kicked in and has been dripping since.

This has been on going problem since last year and I have had two different service companys to try and fix the problem

Can you help me?

Your boiler should run somewhere between one and two bar, check that the filling loop had been disconnected, (this must be done by law) it could be letting by, and increesing the unwanted pressure, the relief valve will dump at about 3 bar, that is normal, if it still drips below that, change the valve, also, are you sure the guage is reading correctly
