Please tell me how I can hack Portable DVD vextra, model no-0419644. the DVD player is region 1 but will like to change it so that it can all region.

I can´t use the arrows to change the zone.

The Dynex DX-PDVD7 player can be made region free.

- Power the unit on, have no DVD inside.
- Press SETUP on the Remote
- Hit the right forward arrow key until the "Preference Page" shows up
- Press 9-6-5-3 on the remote
- A window with Firmware version information comes up
- Use the up/down arrow keys to select 0
- Press ENTER on the remote
- Leave the setup menu with SETUP

It also played a PAL DVD right away, so I guess that I am all set now.
