I have this exact same problem with the same boiler. I've tried changing the valve to manual and it started clicking and pushed the lever back to auto, it would not stay on manual. Any ideas or further checks I can make?

check the moterised valve in airing cupboard. Put on CH turn up room thermostat then gently push the metal lever o the motersied valve to manual. If this works you need to replace motor
