potterton EP 2000?

I set the timer and switch it to clock but the heating does not shut down at the time it is supposed to, what's wrong?
Paula Ivers, September 2007
Set the time and put it to auto, otherwise you are setting the clock.

could be a problem with a motorised valve but with it being an EP clock its quite possibly the clock itself thats faulty! if the light is still ON on the clock when its meant to be off its a clock fault! whatever you do, dont have another EP clock fitted cos the fault is likelly to appear again, you are better off having a completely new clock fitted!

hope this helps!
