the washer won't spin?

The Kenmore washer that we have will wash but when it come to the spin cycle it won't spin the cloths dry.

Hi Carol ...... depending on how long you have had your machine will detirmine whether or not the motor brushes need replacing. If they haven't been replaced then I'm pretty certain worn brushes are your problem. They are relatively easy to replace if you can access the motor .... usually in the top of the machine, perhaps a freind who has replaced them before will be able to help you out. They should cost between 15 and 20 pounds. Don't buy cheap imitations as you'll find them needing replacement again in a few months time.
