my hotpoint ultima wf 865 is constantly going on to test mode how to i stop this please

fixing this is easy: switch machine off the back on. then hold down the on / off button at the same time as the start / cancel button for 3 seconds. this will reset the machine. should be fine then.

just fixed my mum's with the help of customer support. was wondering how she got it that way to start with. thanks!

when you are pressing the start button you must be also pressing the on/off button as this puts the machine into test mode. If you are not then you will need a new control board.
