replacing bathroom ceiling light?

I am replacing the old bathroom light fitting. When i came to take it off there are 3 grey wires coming out of the ceiling .
None of then are marked but 2 are wrapped together and
are connected to one connction and the is a single grey wire
fitted to the other connection.

My new ceiling light has a live and neutral marked on it.
Are the 2 grey wires wrapped togrther to go into the live connection
or is this correct

the other answer on here is wrong .disregard it. lights should not be switched by the neutral .if you have no earth you should use a class 2 fitting and get someone to investigate where the earth has gone

Gerry ...... sounds like the two wrapped together are the live and the single will be the neutral from the switch. Where's the earth? If you blow the lighting fuse when you switch on then it's wired up the other way round, where you have a switched live instead of a switched neutral.
