my boiler wont kick in when turned onto central heatng?

i have a worcester heat slave 9.24 boiler
when i turn the water on the boiler kicks in and works ok however when i turn the central heating on it doesn't kick in.the pressute gage reads at zero psi, could this be the problem,if so how do i rectify this?

you should have a filling loop somewhere on the system, will look like a braided hose about 30cm long, normally underneath the boiler, but could be anywhere! where its connected to there will be either 1 or 2 isolating valves, open them up until the boiler reaches about 1.5 then shut them off! hope this helps?

thanks for your answer sonray heating but how do i top up the system?

Ricky, September 2007
your system needs topping back up to 1.5bar and your rads will need bleeding.
