I have a new Matsui DVD 320 Player?

I am trying to set up the multi region function and everytime I press the number keys on the remote it comes up invalid key can you help?

MAKE SURE NO DVD is inserted,
Enter 9735 from the remote

The full setup menu appears
in the Region page.
Use the arrow keys to select your region
then ENTER.
