hhow can i get my sat control to turn the volume up and down on my tv can any1 help plz?

I couldnt get my remote to work with my hitachi TV. So i went through all the codes in the Sky+ manual and a code for a 'Thorn' TV worked (typical it was second to last). It is a bit long winded going through all the 4 digit codes but 70% of the time you will find the right code, just need patience! :)

P.S: dont bother asking Sky as they just either say they dont know or contact the manufacturer who then say contact Sky. You could try Philips as they make the remotes, i have but they never reply to emails.

I have exactly the same problem...everything works ok on sky remote other than the volume buttons...let me know if you have any luck mate. d.cooke@hotmail.co.uk. I must of tried hundreds of codes so far...aaarrrggghh!

press interactive then go into coustmer sevices then go into program your remote this will guide you through the rest or there is no code for your tv
