I have an old baxi wm 531 rs boiler that will now not fire up.
The pilot will light & stay lit but not the boiler.

I've been told it might be gas control valve but would appreciate anyones opinion,who knows a bit more about boilers than i do, before i spend best part of £100 on a unnecessary new part.

Have a Raven heat multi point boiler no model number on the case. The problem I have is No hot water. only works when central heating is turned on

Does the pump run when you switch it on Aido? .... also check the thermostats haven't been turned right down.
