my tv flickered then it went of and wont come on again ther is a burning smell from the back it is a 42 inch senic thompson model and is 3 yr old

well sounds like its broken! have to buy a new one if u dont have a extended insurance service on the tv! the repairs might be more than a new tv to be honest.
