Can it be fixed?

My Whirpool # MT7118XD1 micro is dead. The top feels really hot, and there is nothing wrong with the outlet. No clock, etc. shows up on the screen.

By saying the outlet is ok, I mean it is... the other appliances plugged into it are working.

What do you mean by the outlet is OK? Is it still warming the food? .... If its just display related then it is possible to change the control board.
