Take out the ink cartridges, disconnect the printer, turn upside down and vigorously shake the unit. If your lucky bits will fall out, in mine was a drawing pin (thumb tack to Americans) a piece of plastic and an old necklace.
Printer works fine now.
You have nothing to lose as you can buy a replacement printer cheaper than calling some one out to repair it.
Don't forget to put the cartridges back in.
