Hi. the lead flashing on my house is staining my plaster(i have a unsual bay window with a small flat roof with no gutters), is it possible to paint lead and will this stop the staining. thanks

YOU CAN PAINT LEAD . THERE IS ALSO PATENATION OIL USE A RAG TO RUB IT ON. IT WILL STOP THE STAINING AND BRING OUT THE NATURAL COLOUR IN THE LEAD BUT THIS SHOULD BE DONE ON NEW LEAD IF THE LEAD IS DIRTY TRY A SOFT WIRE BRUSH ON IT AN THEN OIL IT
