I am unable to get the menu screen up on the tv screen, therefore unable to proramme the vcr. It is a panasonic vcr model no.nv-hs880b and nvhs830b in the manual can anyone help?

Can only tune in to channel 68 and LINE. Cannot get any other channels. How do unlock the other channels?

You should be able to get the menu to show if you connect the VCR to the TV via a scart lead. Either that set a tape playing and search the TV channels until the VCR RF signal is found. There is a VCR test signal but you would need to be able to see the menu before selecting.
