fix portable air compressor?

My Sears Craftsman 110 volt air compressor-15 gallon tank, will run but the tank pressure will not go above 95 lbs, it should go up to 150 lbs then shutdown with the high pressure switch. I need 110 lbs pressure to run air nailer.

got a Craftsman air compressor, small oil charged compressor to run small air tools and it will not pump over 20lbs even if I run the regulator knob up and down. I drain the tank after each use. Is the regulator the problem, or is it the pump itself?

You need to check the pressure regulator. It should be like a dial lookind piece near the air pressure gauge. If you increase the preessure,but the pressure doesn't go up you need to get a new regulater.
