PC won't recognise my PCI USB Card?

I have an old PC (Pentium 200) Running WinXP Pro I have recently installed a new 56k Modem, which runs fine, bot when I tried to install a PCI USB Card it will not recognise it. Anybody out there have any ideas as how to correct my problem.

I suspect that the the BIOS on your PC is just too old. You can reflash most good quality PCs by downloading from the manufacturer's we site.

This is a dangerous procedure and you can trash your PC so follow the instructions TO THE LETTER.
