I need an instruction manual for a Thorn EMI Olympic F Boiler?

Just moved into a property approx 25 years old and there is no instruction manual for the heating system. We want to be able to leave the downstairs rads on but turn the upstairs off using the controls and not physically turning off each individual rad.

no joy with the manual but with regard to operating downstairs rads seperatly to upstairs, you can only do this if the system has been designed in zones, each zone being controlled by
a motorised valve , which in turn is controlled by a room thermostat which is controlled by a programmer or individual time clock. the motorised valves instigating the boiler and pump to start up collectively or individually if everything is wired up correctly. The motorised valves need to be fitted where they can be easily got at in case a replacement motor needs to be fitted.
