how to clean washing machine filters?

I own a Kenmore 90 plus series and am having problems cleaning the intake hose filters. is there a solution?

Did u find an answer to your question? I have the same washer and am experiencing a smell off my clothing after they have been washed. I did a search on google and read that filters need to be replaced or cleaned. Any advice??
