Windows XP freezing?

my computer keeps freezing up iam running xp pro. my computer is well above the system requirments.
it freezes booting up and in windows its self. once it has froze you can just restart, it wont let you. sometimes when you turn on everything spins up eg the hard drive, cd drives etc but there are no beeps.
i have no viruses and sometimes (like now) it will run fine for aout an hour then lock up.

please please4 help me

Try using the the F8 key while booting. Select safe mode. Restore the computer back to a previous date when it was working ok. You will find that under system tools.

Else try a remaster. If you still get the same problem then a possible hw fault

Search for how to use SAFE MODE. You'll probably need to run your PC in Safe Mode to work out what is causing the problem.
