How do I stop my tumble dyer tripping the electrics?

I have a tumble dryer that is plugged into a wall socket & when I turn it on it trips all the sockets in the house except the built in sockets for the cooker etc, can I stop this from happening?

Hi Danny. When you say “trips the sockets” what distribution bored have you got? Are they protected through an “RCD” and is it this that is tripping?

It is FAULTY. MAYBE it is lethal. Buy a new one or get it repaired...
