Fix Fault Dyson All Floors

picks up fine with nozzle but not in upright position...checked all airways filter all clear brushes good...im at a loss as to what to do next!! can you help please

The power intermittantly cuts out indicating a poor connection inthe on/off switch. The retaing screw has been released but how does the plastic unit slide off - I dont want to apply too much force

the beater brush won't turn....i have verified the belt is okay. what can i do next to fix it?
