my ALBA digital voice recorder is froze,l have removed the batteries but no help

my turntable has no holes for the belt just the inner rim to pulley however my belt will not fit back on any ideas. its an Alba deck

WheN i play my Alba 3 Disc CD player the discs sometimes jump through the tracks. It is not a very old cd player.
