My worcester 24i combi is not firing. Have noiced the fan is running slowly and is stiff when turned manually. How can I strip it down to check for any obstructions etc
well WD40 some times works, but you have to change sooner or later because it had its time, they are about £84 to buy and very easy to change, good luck

hi, i have exactly the same problem.
i had a boiler repairman round this morning who says the fan has seized completely and needs replacing.
i sprayed it up with motorcycle chain spray and it seems to have started working again... somewhat more noisy than usual but hopefully a temporary fix until he gets the new one delivered and fitted.
