My computer is slow?

Hi, i have check my computer for spyware and everything is O.K. I have also now try Reg Cure but this has not made any difference to my computer. Any suggestion on how i can resolve this problem as my computer is running very slow. I have try different suggestion but they have not work.

I agree with previous answer, defragment your hard disk. (you will not loose any files). If a Windows PC Defrag by going to Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk defragment then choose the hard disk you wish to analyse then mend (usually C drive). This could take over 1 hour to complete so be patient.

You don't say anything about your PC which is unhelpful. Nor do you give any hints as to when and doing what it runs slow.

However if it is running WinXP SP2 then it needs at least 512MBytes of RAM as a start. Second, defrag your hard disk. Finally get rid of any programs that you no longer use using the built-in Utility (don't just delete the code).
