I have New Curtis Portable 7" dual dvd players,when I put a dvd in it comes up "Loading" the DVD-Video just flashed up then it says "Wrong Region" cant do anything

This maybe of no help to you but my machine displays exactly the same fault, I have spoke to Curtis today and they say the unit is faulty and cannot be sorted short of a visit to a service centre, however, they don't have any and can't recommend any in the UK, they just say return it to the vendor. I bet there's a good chance you bought it on Ebay isn't there?

Hi. I'm sure you know this but when it says wrong region, it means that the DVD is (probably) for an american machine not a european machine. Possibbly the other way around so a player bought back from the states and you're trying to play a UK DVD diisc ?Off the top of my head, we are region 2 and the states is region 1. Asia etc, is presumably 3. If definitely a UK DVD and a UK player then you would need to re-programme the player which is sometime possible from information on sites like these or better, return it to the dealer
