Neighbour's noisy droning boiler?

I would be really grateful for some advice. My new neighbour has had a new Ariston boiler installed and it makes a really loud droning noise - all night (and all day). The noise occasionally stops and starts, but is mostly consistent. I have spoken to her about it but her response is to shrug her shoulders and say she needs her heating and hot water. It's really disturbing my sleep and driving me mad. Is it due to a fixable fault or poor installation? If not, do you think a cover or cupboard of some kind around the boiler would deaden the noise a bit?
Many thanks

It seems you have asked politely with no joy. If the noise is so bad that it disturbs your sleep or interefres with your life then the local Council Environmental Health Department may be able to help. They will visit and assess the noise before telling yiu what they can or can't do.

Hi
Heating "noise" may be Due to Pump, can be set to lower speed if variable. On mine there is slight rattle as clamp is not tight, I think.

Thank you very much for this advice. I'll keep it polite and friendly!

A difficult one, Hannah...modern boilers use a force draught fan to keep the exhaust gases moving, and its this you can hear. Depending on if your neighbour has a balanced flue or not, it could be possible to extend the chimney upwards, but it really depends on how willing she is, I guess. Approach the problem as kindly as you can and say its making you ill...hopefully she'll see reason. Good luck.
